Rabbi Moshe & Mrs. Pearl Herson A
Tribute to
Rabbi Moshe & Mrs. Pearl Herson A"H

In 1962, the Lubavitcher Rebbe guided newlyweds, Rabbi Moshe and Pearl Herson, to settle in Newark, New Jersey, where Rabbi Herson began teaching at the Rabbinical College of America. Soon, the Rebbe encouraged him to become the College's Dean, and eventually to establish Chabad Centers throughout the state.

For over sixty years, Rabbi Moshe and Rebbetzin Pearl Herson were united by a deep commitment to community and tradition. While Rabbi Moshe advanced the public mission of the RCA and Chabad of New Jersey, Pearl provided an unwavering, nurturing foundation that enriched their collective vision.

Today, the Rabbinical College of America stands as a global citadel of Torah study, its influence reaching every corner of the world. Wherever you travel, you are likely to encounter a Chabad representative-many of whom are proud RCA alumni-serving as "lamplighters" who ignite spiritual renewal. As the late Senator Joe Lieberman once observed, "the RCA is the West Point of the global Jewish community." Chabad of New Jersey has grown into a vibrant network of 72 dynamic Centers, each a powerhouse of goodness and G-dliness, lovingly serving their respective communities.

The Trustees of the Rabbinical College of America invite you to join us in paying tribute to the enduring impact of Rabbi Moshe and Pearl Herson on New Jersey and the world, and ensuring the continuity and growth of Chabad's vital activities.
